RAPID EVALUATION AND ASSESSMENT PROCESS - What is REAP?

The Rapid Evaluation and Assessment Process (REAP) is a unique system that provides the sponsor with a critical, credible, and cost-effective assessment and evaluation of a project or a topic in a timely manner. Often sponsors are faced with the decision to act without having adequate information, in-house knowledge, or adequate time to make a decision. REAP is designed to respond to that need. Key elements of the process are:

  1. The sponsor identifies core questions to be answered at the end of the REAP process
  2. Our in-house staff performs a rapid evaluation of the subject.
  3. Based on that evaluation, our extensive databases are searched and experts are identified who are knowledgeable on specific elements of the topic.
  4. These individuals are contacted and the questions are presented to them
  5. Our staff, in cooperation and support of external experts, prepares 1) A brief summary of the project, 2) Findings consisting of responses to the questions identified under item 1., and 3) Recommendations that are derived from the Findings.
  6. A report is prepared and submitted to the sponsor.
  7. Depending upon the need of the sponsor the process requires about 3-6 weeks
